Clark has once again teamed up with frequent collaborator BC&J Architects for another custom residential build. The project involves converting a particularly scenic lot on Bainbridge Island into a singular waterfront residence. In approaching and proceeding with this construction, there have been complex logistical considerations to bear in mind. Located at the end of a long, steep, narrow, tree-lined drive, it’s a very romantic setting, but tricky driving for the many trucks working at the site.
Like many of the houses we build, this is a dream home, so the living style is rooted in special amenities and high-quality finish details unique to the property. A workout room, an elevator, mudroom w/dog shower, large store front windows & doors to maximize natural lighting are among the desired lifestyle enhancement features of this 4,662 sf home-in-progress.
The fabulous views of the Olympics and Agate pass make this project and its complexities all worthwhile. And, as a special treat, a David Lynch reference: the beach across from the property was used for a pivotal scene in the Twin Peaks pilot. Keep the fish out of the coffee maker!
This home is scheduled to be completed summer 2022.
