The construction site at Historic Fort Worden continues to hum along this week. Slated for completion later this summer, the 3 historic buildings being restored are all in different stages of completion: steel erection for deck canopies is being installed, the last of the new slate roofing has gone on, and the site is anticipating the delivery of 12+ miles of shiplap at the end of this week to begin interior finishes. That should be exciting!
