The former headquarters of Clark Construction on Ericksen Avenue, in downtown Bainbridge Island, is undergoing an impressive remodel with a new 3rd mezzanine level. Once complete, this Tenant Improvement will have transformed all four of the 3500 sf existing office buildings at the Ericksen Avenue Office Park into a new private high school campus. Hyla School is expanding its program to this second site, intentionally located in the downtown core and just a block from the ferry terminal, to facilitate structured access to the surrounding community. Through ongoing engagement with the community, students at Hyla practice citizenship through apprenticeship and upon graduation are ready to support and influence their future communities. The anticipated completion of the first building will be mid-Summer 2022 and work will begin on the second office building with similar build-out and matching exterior siding in the fall.
