Clark Construction Inc. CEO Casey French announced

Clark Construction Inc. CEO Casey French announced key leadership transitions that will go into effect June 2023, upon the retirement of Founder and President, Rachele Turnbull. Kellen Bond will step into the role of President, and Chris Dykeman will become Vice-President of Construction.

Kellen Bond, Kitsap born and raised, joined Clark in 2014 and has over 17 years in the construction industry. He worked his way up in the company, from project manager, Superintendent, project principal, vice-president of construction and now to president.

Chris Dykeman joined Clark in February of 2022, bringing a wealth of knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Chris has 50 years of experience in the construction industry on the east coast, including work on medical facilities, science laboratories, educational campuses, factories and food processing plants, high-rise buildings, bridges and railroads.

"We will always be a female founded construction company”. said CEO Casey French in a recent company-wide meeting. “The core values of integrity, equality, diversity and stewardship are what defines Clark and in this next phase of the business those values will not change.”

Rachele Turnbull announced that she is retiring from Clark Construction Inc. (CCI) which she founded in 2006. She will remain with the company until June 2023. The CCI team is made up of nearly 50% women, minority, and under-represented groups (unheard of in the construction world), with offices in Sequim and on Bainbridge Island, and a projected volume of over $50M annually. She is proud of the company's culture of community outreach and volunteerism that will continue long into the future. It was about three years ago that the team at Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) first approached us about this project, and through some stops and starts (including Covid), they persevered, continued with us as their general contractor, and we broke ground together. They knew the quality of the work that Clark does, as well as our experience in multifamily construction, but we believe they also knew that housing instability is a social issue that Clark cares deeply about. We want to be part of the solution in bringing more affordable housing to Puget Sound.
7th Haven truly took a village (including the 42 trade partners that worked alongside us), and we’re proud of the quality of this build and the knowledge that we played a role in bringing beautiful living spaces to families and children who need them.
