Wing Point

This 4600 square foot custom residence on Bainbridge Island features an impressive use of concrete, including walls, heated slab floors, and a 35-foot-tall fireplace. The long, narrow street leading up to the home required concrete to be pumped from 400 feet away, sometimes using a line pump and boom pump simultaneously. All materials were delivered using a one-ton flatbed or box truck. The concrete and steel components of the structure are complemented by siding of cembrit panels and ipe, as well as tongue and groove Douglas fir soffits. Walnut cabinets and shelving in the kitchen required precise finish carpentry to produce a stunning, quality result. Custom steel stairs and railings and glulam beams further the unique character of the home.
