As the hands-on leader of a well-established construction company, Rachele wears many hats each day and plays a key role in every Clark project. Her strengths include professional project management and accurate cost estimating, skills honed during her many years in construction. After earning a degree in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University in 1996, she spent eight years at Baugh Construction Oregon, a nationally recognized contractor (now a part of Skanska USA). At Baugh she worked as Project Manager, using sophisticated material and labor tracking systems and budget forecasting tools for large-scale projects. She founded Clark Construction in 2006, and the company has grown to project $40M in revenue in 2019. In 2021 Rachele was inducted into Oregon State’s Academy of Distinguished Engineers. Honored for her outstanding and sustained contributions to her profession, her work exemplifies Oregon State’s leadership over the past 150 years.
