After earning a Civil Engineering degree at San Jose State University, Norm began working on technically challenging heavy civil construction work, bridges, hydroelectric power plants, and marine construction in Alaska, Hawaii, the Pacific Islands, Western Canada and California. The experience honed his skills in reviewing complex construction projects, problem-solving, and inter-personnel communication with the diverse communities where these projects were built and from which construction crews were hired. He left Kiewitt in 1998 as general superintendent after 20 years.
For the last 15 years, Norm has worked on high-end custom homes, multifamily and mixed-use projects in Kitsap, King and San Juan counties, getting projects out of the ground and completed on time and within budget. He brings a vast commercial construction background to the Clark team.
